Raccord Male (Male Union Part)
In European sanitary piping standards (such as SMS or DIN), the "Raccord Male" refers to the male threaded half of a complete union. It is welded onto one end of a pipe and connects to the female liner (welded to the other pipe) using a union nut and a sealing gasket to create a hygienic, dismantlable joint.
How to ensure a hygienic weld when installing a sanitary male union?
