How does a sanitary check valve work in a vertical pipeline?

Automatic 1-Way Operation
Fluid pressure from below pushes the internal disc upwards, compressing the spring to open the valve. When flow stops or pressure drops, the spring and back-pressure instantly force the disc against the seal, preventing any backflow and contamination.

Can this hygienic non-return valve be cleaned via CIP?

Design Compatibility: Yes. The valve features a crevice-free body and Ra ≤ 0.8µm internal polish.
CIP Process: It allows standard Clean-In-Place (CIP) chemical solutions to flush through without dead legs.
SIP Process: The FDA-approved EPDM/PTFE seals are fully compatible with Sterilize-In-Place (SIP) high-temperature steam.
