Depressurize the Line: Ensure the pipe is completely drained and release the tri-clamp connections to remove the valve.
Disassemble the Body: Use an Allen wrench to remove the hex bolts holding the two valve body halves together.
Remove the Old Seal: Open the valve disc to the fully open position and carefully pull the old EPDM elastomer seat out of the body grooves.
Install the New Seal: Lubricate the new FDA-approved seal with food-grade grease, snap it perfectly into the groove, align the disc, and evenly tighten the body bolts.
