Provide ultimate, fail-safe protection for your thin-walled brewing and storage tanks with the Aomite Sanitary Vacuum & Pressure Relief Valve (VPRV).
Also known as a Breather Valve, this precision CNC-machined safety device offers dual-action protection in one compact Tri-Clamp unit. If the tank internal pressure rises too high, the valve opens to exhaust gas. Conversely, if a sudden vacuum occurs (e.g., during rapid draining or cold rinsing after hot CIP), it instantly pulls ambient air in to prevent catastrophic tank implosion.
Important Safety Feature: To prevent accidental tampering by operators, this VPRV is strictly Non-Adjustable in the field. It comes factory-preset and laser-marked (e.g., standard +1.0 Bar exhaust, -0.05 Bar vacuum). However, we can fully customize these preset calibration thresholds (from 0.3 to 2 Bar) at the time of your order to perfectly match your engineering requirements.

Failsafe Equipment Protection
While some relief valves feature an external knob for pressure adjustment (like a spunding valve), a VPRV acts as the ultimate emergency fail-safe for a tank. If an operator accidentally turns an adjustable knob too tight, the tank could over-pressurize and violently explode. By making this VPRV factory-preset and non-adjustable, we remove the risk of human error entirely. The valve is precision-calibrated at our facility (e.g., to exactly 1.0 Bar) and locked. It will always open at that exact limit, ensuring absolute safety.
Over-Pressure Relief (Exhaust): When the pressure inside the fermenter exceeds the set limit (e.g., 1.0 Bar), the upward force lifts the heavier internal spring/disc assembly, allowing excess CO2 or air to safely vent out the side ports.
Vacuum Break (Implosion Protection): If the tank rapidly cools or drains, a dangerous vacuum forms. At just -0.05 Bar of vacuum, the external atmospheric pressure pushes down on the lighter vacuum disc at the top of the valve, instantly opening it to let ambient air rush in and stabilize the tank structure.
