Mounting the Stem
Unlike threaded wall brackets, the solid stainless steel stem on this pipe holder is designed to be directly butt-welded to a stainless steel backing plate, strut channel, or structural frame within the facility. This provides an extremely rigid, permanent standoff distance from the wall or floor, allowing clearance for CIP washdowns behind the pipes.
Securing the Pipe
Once the stem is welded in place, the two halves of the T-clamp are placed around the sanitary pipeline and secured tightly using the provided hex bolts, locking the pipe perfectly on its axis.
Washdown Environments: Breweries and dairies are constantly washed down with water and foaming chemical cleaners. Galvanized steel will quickly rust in these conditions, whereas SS304 remains corrosion-free.
Galvanic Corrosion Prevention: If you clamp a stainless steel pipe using a carbon/galvanized steel bracket, dissimilar metal contact can cause galvanic corrosion, eating away at your expensive pipeline. Using SS304 brackets on SS304 pipes completely eliminates this risk.
