Engineered specifically for complete, hygienic vessel drainage, the Aomite Sanitary Tank Bottom Diaphragm Valve is the ultimate 'zero dead leg' solution for the pharmaceutical, dairy, and food processing industries.
Designed to be welded directly flush to the lowest point of your sanitary tank, this manual valve ensures that no fluid or bacteria can stagnate. Featuring a highly polished AISI 316L stainless steel body and a durable composite seal (PTFE + EPDM), it safely handles aggressive media and high-temperature CIP/SIP cleaning cycles under pressures up to 10 bar. Shown here in the standard DN40 (50.5mm Tri-Clamp) configuration, we provide a full range of customizable sizes and connection types for global equipment integrators.

Zero Dead Leg (Flush Mount)
A standard valve connected to a tank requires a pipe nipple, creating a "dead leg" where liquid can pool and bacteria can grow, escaping the reach of CIP cleaning. A tank bottom diaphragm valve is welded flush with the actual bottom curve of the vessel. When the valve is closed, the diaphragm becomes part of the tank's inner wall, ensuring 100% complete drainage and absolute sterility.
Chemical Resistance (PTFE): The side of the diaphragm facing the fluid is coated with PTFE (Teflon), which provides ultimate resistance to harsh CIP chemicals and aggressive pharmaceutical ingredients.
Elasticity & Sealing (EPDM): The backing of the diaphragm is made of EPDM rubber. PTFE alone is too rigid to create a perfect seal; the EPDM backing provides the necessary flexibility and "memory" to ensure a bubble-tight shutoff every time the manual handwheel is closed.
