Tri-Clamp Ends (This Product)
Ideal for food, beverage, and pharmaceutical lines where frequent cleaning and inspection are mandatory. The Tri-Clamp connection allows you to unclamp and completely remove the entire sight glass assembly from the pipeline in seconds without using any tools. It is the absolute standard for hygienic design.
Welded Ends
Best suited for permanent installations where the sight glass will never be removed from the pipeline, or in high-vibration environments where a clamp might loosen over time. However, replacing a broken glass on a welded unit is much more labor-intensive.

What is the purpose of the 4 tie-rods surrounding the glass tube?
