Full-Bore Flow & Maintainability
A 1-Piece ball valve is often "reduced bore" (the hole in the ball is smaller than the pipe), which restricts flow and can cause foaming. A 2-Piece (2PC) valve allows for a "full-bore" design, meaning the internal pathway is the exact same diameter as your pipeline, offering zero flow restriction. Furthermore, the 2-piece body can be disassembled for internal seal replacement, extending the lifespan of the valve significantly.
Safety Locking Device: The handle features a sliding locking plate. When the valve is in either the fully open or fully closed position, you can slide this plate down into a notch on the valve stem.
