Gain absolute visual control over your fluid processes with the Aomite Sanitary Tubular Inline Sight Glass.
Designed for seamless integration into food, dairy, brewery, and chemical pipelines, this straight-through flow indicator provides operators with a crystal-clear, 360-degree view of the media. The robust structure features a high-strength transparent glass cylinder securely clamped between two stainless steel (SS304/316L) flanges using four heavy-duty threaded tie-rods. This modular tie-rod design not only absorbs pipeline stress to prevent glass breakage but also allows for incredibly fast dismantling for cleaning or glass replacement without welding. Compliant with DIN, SMS, and ISO standards, it is available with versatile Tri-Clamp, Welded, or Flanged connection ends.

Structural Protection & Easy Maintenance
Glass is inherently brittle. If a glass cylinder were directly threaded or welded into a pipeline, any thermal expansion or mechanical vibration would shatter it instantly. The four external stainless steel tie-rods absorb all the structural tension and compression of the pipeline, isolating the glass from mechanical stress. Furthermore, if the glass needs cleaning or replacing, operators can simply unscrew the tie-rod nuts and slide the glass out without needing to cut or unclamp the main pipe ends.
Pressure Limitations: No. While standard stainless piping can handle very high pressures, the working pressure of an inline sight glass is limited by the glass cylinder itself. They are typically designed for low-to-medium pressure applications (usually around 14.5 to 145 PSI, depending on the diameter and glass thickness).
Proper Placement: It should be installed in areas of the pipeline where observing color, flow direction, or the presence of air bubbles is critical, but isolated from extreme high-pressure pump discharge surges.
