Specifically engineered for the stringent requirements of the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and advanced dairy industries, this valve guarantees 100% sterile sampling. Unlike standard valves, the aseptic design features two auxiliary side ports. Before and after taking a product sample from the main tank, operators can route high-temperature pure steam (SIP) or cleaning fluid (CIP) through these side ports to thoroughly sterilize the internal valve chamber, entirely eliminating bacterial dead legs. Forged from premium SS304 or SS316L, it withstands working pressures up to 145 PSI and high-temperature steam. Equipped with a standard 50.5mm Tri-Clamp (TC) flange for rapid, hygienic mounting.

How does an Aseptic Sampling Valve prevent bacterial contamination?

The SIP Sterilization Chamber
A standard sampling valve leaves a small amount of residual fluid inside its nozzle after a sample is taken, which becomes a breeding ground for bacteria. An Aseptic Sampling Valve is designed with two extra side ports. Before pulling a new sample, the operator injects high-temperature steam (SIP) into the lower side port, which washes through the entire internal valve chamber and exits the upper side port. This completely sterilizes the internal pathway, ensuring the next sample drawn from the tank is 100% pure and uncontaminated by previous residues.

Is an aseptic sampling valve the same as a stop and waste valve?
