Ensure secure, hygienic, and convenient access to the interior of your pressurized tanks with the Aomite Sanitary Round Manhole Cover (Tank Manway).
Engineered specifically for pressure vessels in the brewery, dairy, and pharmaceutical industries, this robust access door provides operators with a safe entry point for routine inspection, CIP cleaning, and maintenance. The cover is secured by heavy-duty ergonomic handwheel knobs that evenly distribute pressure across the food-grade gasket (available in Silicone, EPDM, NBR, or FPM), ensuring an absolute, leak-proof seal under pressure. To eliminate bacterial dead legs, the interior surface is precision-polished to a strict Ra ≤ 0.8μm finish. Available in a comprehensive range of sizes from DN150 to DN800 (such as our featured DN400 model), with customizable collar heights and cover thicknesses to perfectly match your vessel's specifications.

Round Manways (This Product)
Typically installed on the top or upper side of pressurized tanks. The round shape evenly distributes internal pressure, making them the standard choice for most sanitary pressure vessels and fermenters.
Oval Manways
Usually installed on the lower side of the tank. They are designed to open inward so that the internal liquid pressure naturally pushes the door tighter against the gasket, creating an even stronger seal.
Rectangular Manways
Commonly used as side-access doors on non-pressurized tanks (like brewery mash tuns) for raking out spent grain, where large, unhindered access is more important than high-pressure retention.
Even Pressure Distribution: On large diameters (like DN400 or DN800), a single locking point cannot compress the gasket evenly. Multiple handwheel knobs ensure uniform clamping force around the entire circumference, preventing leaks under high internal pressure.
Safety & Gradual Release: When opening a pressurized tank, operators can gradually loosen the knobs. This safely bleeds off any residual pressure before the cover is fully swung open, protecting the operator from sudden bursts.
