Maintain crystal-clear visibility into your fermentation and mixing tanks at all times with the Aomite Sanitary Sight Glass with Manual Wiper.
In food, dairy, and brewery applications, internal steam condensation, foam, or sticky viscous fluids frequently obscure standard observation windows, making process monitoring impossible. This premium assembly solves that problem instantly. It features a high-strength 4-inch tempered glass disc integrated with a highly effective manual wiper mechanism. By simply turning the external ergonomic T-handle, operators can sweep the inner glass surface clean without ever opening the tank or halting production. The wetted metal components are forged from hygienic SS304 or SS316L. Backed by our industry-leading 3-Year Warranty, it guarantees long-term, flawless performance.

Eliminating Condensation and Krausen
During active beer fermentation or hot CIP (Clean-In-Place) cycles, the inside of a stainless steel tank produces massive amounts of steam condensation and foam (Krausen). This completely coats the inside of a standard sight glass, rendering it useless. By installing a sight glass with an integrated manual wiper, the brewer can simply twist the external handle to physically squeegee the inside of the glass, instantly restoring a clear view of the fluid level and activity without breaking the tank's pressurized seal.
Thermal Shock Resistance: Yes. Tempered glass is specially treated to withstand sudden, extreme temperature changes (such as cold beer being flushed out by boiling CIP fluids) without cracking.
Mechanical Strength: It is up to four times stronger than standard annealed glass. This allows it to safely handle the internal pressures of a fermentation tank. In the rare event of breakage, tempered glass shatters into small, blunt granular chunks rather than dangerous, jagged shards.
